Projekta idejas apraksts:

I propose to implement a food forest garden complete with fruit trees, nut trees, berry bushes and other biodiversity. Planting shall take place in Latvian symbols as viewed from the living towers above. I intend to turn Jugla into a place of wonder and discovery for all the children that already play in the neighborhood here. There are a few apple trees already. I plan to finish what others in the Jugla community have started. Local residents of the area will be able to share in the bountiful harvist.!

Kādu problēmu atrisinās?:

My plan will both provide the community and the children with a wonderful atmosphere with places to play, walk and wonder, as well as provide a lot of healthy organic food for people to eat. I can see how wonderful it is just to have five or six apple trees a few pear trees nearby. I have done a lot of thinking into various ways 10,000 Euros can help this local community be a more vibrant and pleasant area to live in. After contemplating the cost-benefit ratios on infrastructure signs in many other forms of entertainment I believe plants bring far greater rewards for the cost of implementation. Good sized fruit trees cost about 20 Euros each. That means with 10,000 Euros I can plant 500 trees. Many berry bushes and other plants cost even less.I can build an entire forest of edible food with this prize money. I've done it before at my home in California. It will take me one month to plant 500 trees.

10000 Euros, less means fewer trees but it's better than nothing.
